World Health Organization warns of possible tuberculosis surge because of USAID cuts

A recent statement from the WHO warned of a spike in tuberculosis as a result of the shuttering of USAID. This trend can already be seen worldwide with a recent study showing that the discontinuation of USAID funding has likely already led to an additional 3600 deaths and 6400 new cases. Read more here.
