UVA-Led Team Awarded Grant to Develop Global Resource Supporting Nurses Caring for Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis

Researchers from the University of Virginia have recently received a grant from the Pittsfield Anti-Tuberculosis Association to create a global, web-based resource to further support nurses that are caring for individuals with drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB). These researchers will be collaborating with other professionals at Johns Hopkins University, Boston University, and Harvard University, and working alongside RESIST-TB and the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) to develop this groundbreaking online platform.
