Experts worry over TB treatment resistance, transmission

A new study revealed that resistance is developing to the 6-month BPaLM regimen

recommended by the WHO. The study investigated around 90,000 strains of M.

tuberculosis from around the world and found that 28% showed resistance to both older

and new treatment options, including the BPaLM regimen. Additionally, resistant strain
